DIABOLA CONVEYOR SHOT BLASTING MACHINE

ABRABLAST Roller conveyor blast machines are suitable for the descaling, paint stripping, rust removal, roughening, and cleaning of work pieces such as sheet metal plates, profiles, beams, and pipes. Depending on the type of system, thin sheet metal plates up to massive steel profiles weighing several tons can be processed. Working speeds from 0.5 meter/min for a small roller conveyor machine to 20 meter/min for a heavy roller conveyor machine are achievable.
During processing, the work pieces pass through the pre-chamber, blast cabin, and post- chamber of the system – either one after the other or in batches on a roller conveyor. Depending on the type of system, shot blasting is carried out with precisely positioned blast turbines equipped with energy-saving motors. The blasting result is all-round, comprehensive, and always reproducible. Roller conveyor blast machines can be easily integrated into existing production lines. Despite their sometimes considerable size, thesystems are easy to maintain because the components can be conveniently reached through large access openings and inspection platforms.

Operations :

The Lpg cylinder will be placed on the diabola conveyors and arrive at the blast machine. At that place they activate the signal of blasting situated in front of the inlet conveyor in order to start the automatic abrasives supply to the running high performance turbines.

Through this, it is ensured that the blasting process only starts if there are work pieces in the blasting area. After the blasting process the abrasives situated on the lpg cylinder falls into a hopper and is led back to the abrasives circulation via screw conveyors and bucket elevator.
The abrasives will be cleaned and kept in circulation for continuous use. Via the abrasives dosing device the cleaned abrasives, coming from the abrasives silo, arrives at the high performance turbines A fan unit creates the partial vacuum necessary to maintain dust-free operation of the blasting unit. Extracted air is cleaned in a special filter unit.
