GLASS AND SS SHEET BLASTING

ABRASIVE BLASTING MACHINE FOR GLASS & STAINLESS STEEL SHEETS

The Vertical Glass and SS Sheet Blasting Machine is a specialized solution designed for the frosting, texturing, and decorative blasting of flat glass sheets, or Stainless Steel Sheets, including doors, partitions, windows, mirrors, and architectural panels. This advanced system enables the uniform treatment of large-format glass by holding panels in a vertical orientation—ensuring easy handling, minimal breakage risk, and efficient workspace utilization.

Ideal for both aesthetic and functional finishing, this machine can be configured with suction or pressure-based blasting systems, depending on the depth, texture, and productivity required. From full-surface frosting to artistic logo etching, the machine delivers sharp, repeatable results without compromising the strength or clarity of the glass.

Key Features

  • Vertical Panel Holding Frame: Sturdy support structure allows vertical positioning of glass sheets and stainless steel sheets, ensuring safe operation and ergonomic access.
  • Precision-Controlled Blasting Chamber: Enclosed cabinet with internal lighting, observation window, and blast zone protection enables controlled media flow and process visibility.
  • Suction or Pressure Blast Option: Choose suction blasting for gentle frosting or upgrade to pressure blasting for deeper, high-throughput applications.
  • Reciprocating or Fixed Nozzle Setup: Nozzles can be manually adjusted or mounted on a motorized reciprocation system to ensure complete, uniform blasting across the glass surface.
  • Anti-Scratch Roller or Felt-Based Support: Glass handling systems are lined with soft rollers or felt pads to prevent edge damage and surface scratching during loading or blasting.
  • Dust Collector & Media Reclaim Unit: Fully integrated system separates dust and recycles reusable abrasive—ensuring cost efficiency and a clean workspace.
  • Central Control Panel: Easy-to-operate control unit for blast timing, lighting, nozzle motion (if applicable), and emergency stop features.

Finishing Process and Applications:

SS Sheet or Glass panels are carefully loaded onto the vertical holding frame and secured in place. Once the cabinet is sealed, the blasting cycle begins. Abrasive media—typically glass beads, garnet, or aluminum oxide—is propelled through suction or pressure nozzles onto the surface. Depending on the configuration, the nozzles either remain fixed or move in a reciprocating motion to achieve uniform coverage. The blasted surface is etched, frosted, or textured based on parameters set by the operator. Used media is collected, filtered, and recirculated, while dust is extracted to maintain clarity and safety.
  • Architectural Glass Manufacturing: Frosted windows, glass doors, balcony panels, partitions, and skylights.
  • Stainless Steel Finishing: Bead blasting of flat stainless-steel components to achieve a matte, non-reflective finish
  • Interior and Retail Design: Shower cubicles, mirrors, display panels, cabinets, and counters with matte or patterned effects.
  • Glass Furniture Fabrication: Blasted table tops, shelves, and back-painted frosted glass surfaces.
  • Signage & Branding: Custom logos, designs, and text engraved into glass for corporate, hospitality, and religious applications.
  • Artisanal & Decorative Glasswork: Unique pattern blasting for bespoke projects in temples, public spaces, or galleries.
