COOKWARE SHOT BLASTING MACHINE

COOKWARE SHOT BLASTING MACHINE - ROTARY INDEXING TYPE

The Cookware Shot Blasting Machine – Rotary Indexing Type is specifically designed to meet the high-precision surface preparation needs of the cookware manufacturing industry. It offers a reliable, repeatable, and high-speed blasting solution for products like pressure cookers, frying pans, non-stick cookware bodies, stainless steel pots, lids, and utensil bases.

This machine uses a mechanically indexed rotary turntable system that positions components in front of high-performance blast guns for uniform surface cleaning, descaling, matte finishing, and pre-paint preparation. With multiple workstations and options for automatic loading and unloading, it ensures high productivity with minimal operator involvement, making it ideal for mass production lines.

Key Features

  • Rotary Indexing Table with Multi-Station Layout: Allows continuous and synchronized part loading, blasting, and unloading—perfect for round, shallow, and hollow cookware items.
  • High-Efficiency Suction or Pressure-Based Blast Guns: Removes scale, heat tint, oxidation, and minor surface defects from cookware bodies without affecting dimensional tolerances.
  • Gun Reciprocation System (Optional): Ensures complete coverage of curved surfaces like domed lids or deep pots, enhancing finish consistency.
  • Durable Blasting Cabinet with Wear Protection: Internal lining with rubber or manganese plates resists continuous abrasive impact, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Dust Collection & Media Recovery System: Integrated cyclone or cartridge-type dust collectors maintain a clean environment and recycle media effectively.
  • Precision Speed & Indexing Control: Allows adjustment of blast duration, table rotation speed, and dwell time for different cookware materials and sizes.
  • Compact Footprint with Operator-Friendly Design: Ideal for cookware manufacturing units with limited space but high output demands.

Finishing Process and Applications:

Cookware components such as pressure cooker bodies, fry pans, or stainless-steel lids are loaded manually onto the rotary indexing table. As the table rotates, each part passes through fixed blasting stations where abrasive media is projected by high-speed nozzles or turbines. The blast guns can be fixed or mounted on a reciprocation system to ensure full coverage, especially for curved or deep surfaces. After blasting, cleaned components are automatically or manually unloaded from the final station. Dust and spent media are captured, filtered, and re-used to ensure operational efficiency and environmental compliance.
  • Aluminum & Stainless Steel Cookware Blasting: Pressure cookers, fry pans, saucepans, kadais, and pots
  • Lid and Handle Base Surface Prep: For bonding or coating adhesion
  • Non-Stick Cookware Surface Activation: Prior to PTFE or ceramic coating application
  • Stainless Steel Utensils & Thalis: For matte finishing and oxide removal
  • Sandblasting for Brand Etching or Marking Areas: Preparation of controlled surface texture for laser marking or embossing

Benefits

  • Uniform Surface Finish for Coating & Bonding
Promotes better adhesion of non-stick, enamel, or metallic coatings.
  • Increased Production Efficiency
Multiple parts processed simultaneously in a continuous cycle boosts throughput.
  • Reduced Labor Dependency
Semi-automatic or fully automated operation reduces human intervention and handling time.
  • Versatile Part Compatibility
Capable of handling a wide range of cookware shapes and sizes with minimal changeover time.
  • Improved Coating Durability & Aesthetics
Prepares the surface for longer-lasting and visually appealing coatings.
  • Dust-Free and Clean Operation
Integrated filtration ensures operator safety and better workplace hygiene.
